Nov 26-29, 2007 - Advanced Facial Anatomy and Cosmetic Surgery Workshop to be held in Shanghai, China
Dr Prochazka is pleased to represent the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery on the Organising Committee for this joint venture with Shanghai Second Military Medical School and Tongji University. A groundbreaking instructional workshop involving lectures, cadaver dissection and live surgery, the course will be conducted in English and is open to suitably-qualified doctors from around the world.

April 2007 - Dr Prochazka appointed as ACCS Ambassador to China
Following his stint as the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery's inaugural Medical Faculty Dean, Dr Prochazka is pleased to accept a new appointment as ACCS' Ambassador to China. He will be actively pursuing the development of new educational opportunities for ACCS' Registrars in China, as well as forging cooperation with local surgeons for the benefit of the medical fraternity in both countries. The first fruit of this new appointment will be a joint-venture workshop in facial surgery with Shanghai Second Military Medical School and Tongji University

Apr. 26, 2007 - Dr Prochazka steps down as inaugural Medical Dean of ACCS
After an exciting year as the very first Dean of the Medical Faculty of the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery, Dr Prochazka has stepped down from this demanding position in order to devote more time to clinical practice in both Australia and China.
During his tenure, Dr Prochazka was responsible for co-ordinating the ACCS Medical Registrar Training Program, acting as Chief Examiner for the Medical Faculty, and ensuring quality of training for its registrars. He was honoured to convocate the first batch of two registrars with their FFMACCS qualification at the April 2007 conference.
Dr Prochazka congratulates Dr Mary Dingley on her appointment as new Dean of the ACCS Faculty of Medicine.

Apr. 12-15, 2007 - Dr Prochazka presents at Australia's biggest cosmetic surgery conference
The combined ACCS/CPSA/AAFPS Annual Scientific Meeting was held for 2007 at Crown Towers Convention Centre in Melbourne. Dr Prochazka presented no less than three times in the Plenary Sessions, on "X-LIFT: A New Technique in Facial Thread Lifting", "Macroscopic Skin Tightening with Infra-Red Light", and "Laser Lipolysis with 1064nm Light Source". He also presented a workshop on "Advanced Filling Techniques with Radiesse", enjoying the rapt attention of an audience of Australia's leading cosmetic injecting doctors and nurses for over an hour as he enhanced noses, cheeks, chins, eyebrows and jawlines of volunteers with this versatile new dermal filler.

Dec. 12, 2006 - Dr Prochazka presents revolutionary new "X-LIFT" technique at international conference
Dr Tony Prochazka created a stir at the Thread Lifting seminar of the International Academy of Cosmetic Dermatology's international conference in Melbourne, Australia, with his paper entitled "A New Technique in Facial Thread Lifting". Under development since late 2005, Dr Prochazka's "X-LIFT" technique solves all the problems associated with previous thread lifts: skin puckering/gathering, poor tissue loading, bulky thread knots under the skin, and poor thread tensioning.

After 4 years in Bondi Junction, Fine Cosmetic Surgery has relocated its laser and cosmetic medicine practice to new premises in Campbelltown. To service his existing Eastern Suburbs clientele, Dr Prochazka will continue to consult and operate from Peach Cosmetic Medicine in Campbelltown, and perform larger procedures at Bondi Junction Private Hospital. Jan. 10, 2006 - Dr Prochazka becomes first Western cosmetic surgeon in Shanghai
Fine Cosmetic Surgery and Bioscor Shanghai Clinic are please to announce their cooperative Joint Venture, bringing the international cosmetic surgical skills of Aussie doctor Tony Prochazka to China.
